Here is a lovely picture of me in the first aid sled after falling during a ski trip to Heavenly Valley in South Lake Tahoe with my family during Christmas vacation this week. It turns out that you are not supposed to ski over rocks because the rocks cause you to simultaneously fall kind of hard on the ground and separate your shoulder. It turns out that I have the grade 3 separation whereby the ligaments holding my shoulder together completely tears leaving my collar bone unattached to to the rest of my shoulder as shown below.
