The Grinch

The other day, while visiting my family in California, I had a conversation with my thirteen year old brother Aaron.  We were on the subject of Santa Claus when our conversation went like this....

Aaron: I remember when I found out Santa Clause wasn't real.

Me: Yeah, it was when dad said that he was headed to his office on Christmas Eve at 8pm (which we belovedly call the "North Pole" at Christmas time) and you figured out that he was not going to his office to see a patient.

Aaron: No, you told me that Santa was not real and Mom and Dad gave us our presents.

Nice Tod, way to crush a young child's dreams.

You're a terrible brother. My 16 year old brother still believes. Because I'm a good sister and lie to him.
