Tendrils and Succulents

In honor of my friend Lisa, who thought tendrils were gross, I am posting a picture of a peaceful tendril.. They are quite exquisite little plants that are very aesthetically pleasing. According to wikipedia, "a tendril is a specialized stem, leaf or petiole with a threadlike shape that is used by climbing plants for support and attachment, generally by twining around whatever it touches."

Another great word I love to say is SUCCULENTS. Here is a picture of a beautiful succulent which "are water-retaining plants adapted to arid climate or soil conditions. Succulent plants store water in their leaves, stems and/or roots. The storage of water often gives succulent plants a more swollen or fleshy appearance than other plants, also known as succulence. In addition to succulence, succulent plants variously have other water-saving features.
