I never understood why people went gaga over their nieces or nephews. I could never understand how they could be so bonded to something that they did not see very often. It is not their child. I never thought that it was silly or wrong. I just never really comprehended....until now.

I love Landon Gray Zwahlen. He is the cutest little baby I have ever seen. I feel like I want to protect him as if he was my own child. When he cries, my heart breaks because he is uncomfortable. He makes the world stop with every sound and move he makes.

I now recognize my error in thinking.
